Yarrow Community Centre

There is something special about celebrating in a community hall, the kind of room that has hosted neighbours, families and milestones for years.

The Yarrow Community Centre in Chilliwack offers its Grand Hall for weddings and other life celebrations, with photos from past weddings shared on its rentals page.

The Grand Hall seats up to approximately 200 guests, giving couples room for a full dinner and dancing.

The hall is equipped with air conditioning and A/V, and a full commercial kitchen with dinnerware makes it easy to bring in the food plans a couple has in mind.

For smaller gatherings, the Southside Meeting Room seats up to around 60 people and has its own washrooms, coffee facilities and access to the park, with tables and chairs included.

The Snug, a smaller meeting room, seats approximately 40 and shares a small deck with the Southside Room, a comfortable spot for a shower or a quiet gathering before the big day.

Bookings are handled by volunteers, who return calls within about 48 hours.

For couples who want a welcoming community setting with space for a large guest list and the freedom to shape the day themselves, Yarrow Community Centre offers a warm and down-to-earth place to celebrate.
