Wild Rose Brewery

A wedding at Wild Rose Brewery is a celebration inside a piece of Calgary history, with good food, local craft beer and plenty of character.

In 2006, the brewery turned a Second World War Air Force hangar at the Currie Barracks into a microbrewery, and its taproom, AF23, grew up inside it.

Celebrations take place in the Barracks Room, a large and flexible space that welcomes up to 100 guests, vendors included. It suits weddings as well as engagement parties and other gatherings, and it can be booked for a single day or several days in a row.

Catering is made in house and can be tailored to each couple, built around comfort food with a local focus. The bar pours the brewery's own beers along with wine, highballs and non-alcoholic drinks, and the space is open to guests of all ages.

For couples who picture a relaxed, hearty party in a converted wartime hangar with their favourite people and a pint in hand, Wild Rose Brewery offers a wedding with real Calgary roots.
