Vancouver Rowing Club

At the Vancouver Rowing Club, a wedding plays out on the water's edge, with Coal Harbour, the downtown skyline and Stanley Park all within a glance.

The club's Tudor Revival heritage clubhouse opened on September 9, 1911, just inside Stanley Park. The club itself traces its roots to 1886, and Coal Harbour has hosted its regattas for well over a century.

Couples can hold the ceremony, the reception or both here, for up to 150 guests. A huge outdoor patio overlooks the harbour, and Stanley Park is a short walk across the street for photos.

The Harbour Room is the main event space, seating roughly 130 to 160 guests with a built in stage for live music. The Trophy Lounge suits smaller gatherings, and the two rooms can be booked together. Each comes with its own deck or patio.

The club offers catering packages, and the bar serves signature drinks, local wines and craft beers. Staff look after the bar and setup, and the rooms can be arranged in different layouts. Members are not required to book.

Hotels and downtown shopping are a short walk away, which makes it easy for out of town guests.
