Transcona Country Club

At Transcona Country Club, couples can say their vows in a lit courtyard surrounded by trees, flowers and the green sweep of a golf course, then move inside to dance the night away.

Set on Dugald Road in Winnipeg, the club sits among quiet golf course grounds and a natural courtyard with lighting that glows on a summer evening and on a snowy winter night alike. With a spacious lobby and ample free parking, it hosts celebrations of anywhere from 20 to 1,300 guests.

Ceremonies can take place outdoors in the courtyard, overlooking the course, or indoors in one of the halls if the couple prefers.

The Sunset Ballroom is a cozy, rustic room for up to 100 guests, with floor to ceiling windows looking out over the courtyard and its own dance floor. The Sunrise Ballroom seats up to 150 and looks over the golf course, where guests may spot Canada geese, deer and fox. It has a fully equipped bar and a mirrored ceiling above the dance floor.

The Renaissance Ballroom seats up to 300, and guests arrive through an entrance with a fireplace and oak trim. For the largest celebrations, the Paradise Grand Ballroom offers 20,000 square feet with 24 foot ceilings, a 1,600 square foot dance floor, a raised stage with a green room and a full audio visual system.

Each ballroom has its own private entrance, washrooms, coat room and a separate room for welcoming guests as they arrive. The halls are a blank canvas, and the team recommends trusted outside vendors to round out the day.
