Trail Hub

At Trail Hub, couples say their vows on a lawn at the highest point in the Greater Toronto Area, with forest all around and Lake Ontario shining in the distance.

The family-run venue sits on 200 acres of woodland near Uxbridge, about 45 minutes from Toronto, where hiking and mountain bike trails wind through the trees. From the grounds, guests can see across to Lake Ontario, the Toronto skyline and the CN Tower.

The Ceremony Lawn looks over rolling hills and comes set with white folding chairs and a rustic wooden arch, with a white garden arbour as another option.

Receptions move into a stone and post and beam chalet with vaulted ceilings, tall windows, market string lights and chandeliers. Two wood burning stone fireplaces warm the room, while two outdoor firepits and heaters keep the evening glowing outside. The chalet seats up to 190 guests for a plated dinner or about 160 for a buffet, with a hardwood dance floor.

A private suite gives the couple and up to eight of their people a calm place to get ready, with a light lunch and mimosas included. An on-site wedding coordinator guides the day, and a rehearsal is part of the plan.

The kitchen team cooks with fresh, local ingredients, from hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour to plated or buffet dinners, late night snacks and seasonal desserts. The licensed bar pours Ontario wines, craft beer and cocktails made with local ingredients, and can create a signature drink for the couple. Leashed dogs are welcome at the ceremony and for photos afterwards.
