Toronto Beach Club

A wedding at Toronto Beach Club unfolds right at the edge of Lake Ontario, with the shoreline in view as the day drifts into evening.

The venue sits on the lakefront in the east end of Toronto, about ten minutes from Union Station, so guests coming from downtown have an easy trip out to the water.

The Beachside Patio is the romantic heart of the place. It looks out over the lake under a canopy of string lights and shade trees, with heaters and wood-burning fireplaces to keep guests warm once the sun goes down. It holds up to 200 for cocktails or 120 seated, and part of it is covered.

Upstairs, the Louis XIII Salon also has lake views and its own private bar, seating 60 or welcoming 85 for a cocktail reception. The Sunset Suite, with a private bar of its own, suits smaller dinners of up to 52 seated. The Mediterranean Room takes 140 seated or 200 standing.

For a larger celebration, couples can take over the entire venue, which seats 400 or hosts 650 for a cocktail reception across its rooms and patio.

The kitchen works from seasonal menus, with cocktail and wine programs behind the bars. Every space has AV connections and there is room for a live DJ, and on-site parking covers 110 cars.
