Studio V Events

At Studio V Events, a small wedding comes together in a bright industrial loft in Toronto's west end, styled with exposed brick, soaring ceilings and dried florals.

The venue is run by a mother and daughter team who set out to make weddings beautiful, inclusive and affordable. The 3,600 square foot space opened in 2020 and has hosted many intimate weddings and elopements since.

The space suits a ceremony and reception in one place. It welcomes up to 80 guests for a cocktail style reception or up to 60 for a seated meal.

Packages range from a simple elopement to a fully planned micro wedding. Depending on the choice, they can include décor, music, an officiant, a photographer, cake, florals and day of coordination, and couples can also rent the decorated space on its own.

Couples can bring their own alcohol, served by the venue's Smart Serve certified staff with a special occasion permit, and dogs are welcome.

The loft is about a two minute walk from Lansdowne Station, with street parking out front and a public lot a short walk away. The surrounding streets are full of colourful murals that make a fun backdrop for photos.
