At the Rose Chapel, couples say their vows in a restored heritage chapel from around 1854, where late afternoon light pours through tall windows onto old wooden pews.
The chapel is part of Stoneridge in London, Ontario, where the ceremony, the reception, dinner and the overnight stay all happen on one property.
Built of soft yellow brick with stained glass, the chapel has its original pews restored, warm hardwood floors and candelabra chandeliers. It seats 150, with extra standing room, and it is non denominational and open to every couple and every faith.
Ceremony details are thoughtfully covered: complimentary flowers at the front of the chapel, a bridal suite and lobby, a flagstone patio for photos and the receiving line, a heated walkway for winter weddings and a chapel concierge to keep the day running.
Receptions take place just steps away in three ballrooms. Somerset gathers around a striking stone fireplace, Town and Country is the largest at up to 200 guests with windows on three sides, and Townsend suits a smaller party of up to 60.
The on site culinary team handles the meal and the bar together, and for smaller weddings of up to 35 guests, dinner can be served at the property's own grill restaurant.
Guests stay at the inn steps from the celebration, and for weddings of 60 guests or more the overnight rooms are included.
For couples who picture a candlelit heritage chapel and a fireside reception with everyone staying under one roof, the Rose Chapel at Stoneridge offers a wedding that flows from vows to breakfast without ever leaving.
