The Oaks Golf Club

At The Oaks Golf Club, couples say their vows on the manicured grounds of a private championship course, set on 150 acres above the Thames River valley.

The club opened in 1993 and its course was designed by Rene Muylaert, with an open links-style front nine and a parkland back nine shaded by mature oaks and spring-fed ponds. The 16,000 square foot clubhouse began life as a family home before it was adapted into the club it is today.

Ceremonies take place right on the course grounds, and the club supplies the chairs, setup and teardown, ceremony coordination and even golfer traffic control so the moment stays undisturbed.

Receptions move into the banquet hall, completely renovated in 2024, which seats up to 170 guests, and the clubhouse can host celebrations of up to 200. The upstairs patio looks out across the course, the garden-level patio opens onto mature landscaping, and the Onyx Lounge and Champions Lounge each have a fireplace for a quieter corner of the evening. Room rental includes tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, staffing, a podium and microphone, and a food tasting for two.

Wedding packages include a cocktail hour with premium bar service, passed hors d'oeuvres, a plated dinner with a choice of entrées and a late reception. The executive chef can accommodate most dietary needs, and an events coordinator guides couples through planning.

The club also hosts bridal brunches, engagement parties and rehearsal dinners, so the whole celebration can stay in one place.
