At The Marlowe, a wedding can move from a sit-down dinner in an elegantly decorated room to a packed dance floor under professional lights, all under one roof in Richmond Hill.

This family-owned restaurant has hosted more than 15,000 functions over seventeen years at its current location, from weddings and engagement dinners to bridal showers and family reunions.

The space is divided into several beautifully decorated semi-private areas. The Mezzanine, with its high beamed ceilings and eclectic decor, seats 55 to 60 guests. The Dining Room, with plush sofas and vibrant interiors, hosts up to 60 for a more formal meal, and the Upper Cocktail area, styled in sleek black and gold, suits gatherings of up to 35.

The covered, heated patio feels like a garden, with see-through walls and lush greenery around guests. It seats up to 100 for dinner or holds 130 for a cocktail reception.

When the whole restaurant is used, The Marlowe can seat up to 260 guests for dinner or welcome up to 300 for a reception, with room for another 100 on the patio.

A dance floor with professional DJ sound and lighting keeps the evening going, and a sound system, microphone, projector and screen are on hand for speeches and slideshows.

The kitchen serves a wide range of world cuisine, with prix fixe and cocktail reception menus to choose from. Event coordinators and chefs can also create a custom menu to suit the couple's tastes.
