The Horowitz Events Centre

At The Horowitz Events Centre, a summer wedding can rise to the seventh floor, where the river valley and the downtown Edmonton skyline wrap around the room.

The centre is inside the historic Students' Union Building on the University of Alberta campus, and it hosts everything from engagement parties and showers to rehearsal dinners, ceremonies and receptions.

Room at the Top, open from May to August, offers a sweeping 270 degree view of downtown and the valley. It seats up to 120 for a ceremony or dinner and welcomes up to 140 standing.

Dinwoodie Lounge is the largest space and is available all year. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out over campus, and the room holds up to 300 for a ceremony or cocktail party and up to 225 for a seated dinner.

The Atrium and Plaza combine indoor and outdoor space for summer ceremonies of up to 160 guests and also serve as a rain plan.

The centre is all inclusive, with an onsite venue manager, catering, staffed bars, event crew, sound and AV, and banquet furnishings. Menus range from plated dinners and buffets to grazing boards, action stations and late night snacks, with champagne and table wine upgrades.
