The Creative Hive

A wedding at The Creative Hive feels like a party in a stylish city loft, where raw industrial textures set the scene for the people who matter most.

The Creative Hive Event Centre is a restored warehouse in Edmonton, about 5,300 square feet in all. The owners kept the building's edge and character on purpose and paired it with modern finishes and technology, which makes it a striking backdrop for photos.

The venue is made up of two rooms, Hive 1 and Hive 2, which can be booked on their own for a small wedding or joined into one larger space for a bigger celebration. The Hive also has an outdoor patio and a collection of in-house furniture and props that can help shape the look of the day.

Rentals include an audio-visual system with a projector and screen, a PA system, chairs, a catering prep and storage area and on-site parking, so couples can bring in their own caterer and team. The Hive also keeps a list of exclusive and preferred local vendors, and it hosts its own wedding fair to show what the space can become.

The building was founded by a local media team and is home to small businesses and a production studio, so it carries a creative, community spirit that shows on an event day.
