The Cidery at 51 Acres

At The Cidery at 51 Acres, a wedding starts with a walk down a herringbone aisle toward tall windows framed in bronze above the meadows.

The venue sits in the hills just outside Moncton, between its own vineyard and orchard, and brings a Napa style of architecture to the East Coast.

The great hall has limewashed walls rising to a wood ceiling with bronze chandeliers, and the same room is turned around for the reception after the ceremony.

While the couple takes photos across the equestrian meadows, the orchard and the vineyard, along woodland trails and beside ponds lined with willows, guests enjoy cocktails and cider in an art deco speakeasy in the stone lower level that opens onto a patio.

A granite bar in the breezeway leads to a large upper terrace, a private suite is set aside for getting ready, and caterers have a fully equipped kitchen.
