The Chapel Group - Minoru Park

Some couples dream of a chapel with a bell, stained glass and a story that reaches back well over a century.

The Chapel at Minoru Park, operated by The Chapel Group, sits within Minoru Park in Richmond. Built in 1891 by local volunteers and later relocated to its park setting, it remains one of Richmond's cherished landmarks.

Inside, a vaulted ceiling, stained glass windows and warm natural light create a timeless setting for exchanging vows.

The Classic Ceremony welcomes approximately 20 to 120 guests inside the chapel and includes the venue rental, a marriage officiant in English, Mandarin or Cantonese with live translation available, a planning meeting, a rehearsal, a spacious bride's room, silk flower arrangements and aisle markers, and live musicians.

For an outdoor celebration, the Garden of Vows Ceremony brings the classic package outside for up to approximately 200 guests.

Smaller weddings are welcome too. The Intimate 'I Do' is designed for 20 guests or fewer, and Elope at The Chapel offers a private, all-inclusive ceremony for 10 people or fewer.

Founder and owner Allan Burnett leads the team, helping couples shape ceremonies that reflect their own traditions, cultures and stories.
