Steele Wheels Motor Museum

At Steele Wheels Motor Museum, a wedding party celebrates surrounded by gleaming classic and exotic cars, a setting unlike any other in Halifax.

The museum sits in Bayers Lake, a short drive from downtown Halifax, inside a 40,000 square foot building that houses a collection of more than 75 cars and motorcycles. Guests can wander among the vehicles between photos and toasts.

The Showroom is the heart of the building. Rare and vintage cars line the floor, and a full performance stage with professional lighting and sound is ready for a band, a DJ or the first dance. For the largest gatherings it holds well over a thousand standing guests.

Upstairs, the Mezzanine has high ceilings, elegant furnishings and a built in projection wall, and it seats up to 300 for dinner and speeches. A smaller meeting room for about 40 can serve as a quiet space for the wedding party.

The event team works with couples through every step of the planning. The building is wheelchair accessible, with an elevator to the Mezzanine, and there is plenty of free parking behind the museum.

For couples who picture a reception with a stage, a dance floor and a showroom full of beautiful machines, Steele Wheels offers a wedding that guests will be talking about for years.
