Society Clubhouse

A wedding at Society Clubhouse feels like a party in the coolest room in the neighbourhood, with heritage brick, warm wood beams and twinkle lights glowing over the dance floor.

This women owned, community driven space sits on College Street at Dovercourt in Toronto's west end, part of the lively Dufferin Grove neighbourhood. By day it runs as a taproom, artisan market and bottle shop stocked with drinks from more than 80 Ontario breweries, cideries and wineries.

The venue spans two rooms with 3,400 square feet in all, the Community Room and the Neighbourhood Room, and holds up to 175 guests when couples take over the whole space. Heritage brick walls, wood floors and adjustable lighting give it a relaxed, character filled feel, and the back room's twinkle lights make a natural dance floor.

Practical comforts are well covered. The space is barrier free with a wheelchair accessible washroom, and there are four gender neutral washrooms that include change rooms. In house audio and visual support is on hand, and a kitchen prep area helps caterers serve the meal.

Tables, chairs and linens can be added, and the team can suggest caterers and a DJ to round out the night.
