At Saltlik in downtown Calgary, a wedding can rise to the Sky Lounge, a private top floor where guests look out over the lights and bustle of Stephen Avenue.

This steakhouse on Stephen Avenue spreads across three floors and sets aside distinct rooms for weddings and private celebrations.

The Sky Lounge has its own private entrance and is fully private, with a main bar, a second bar, a DJ and media booth and several lounge and seating areas. It can host the ceremony as well as an elegant seated dinner or a cocktail reception.

Downstairs, the Mahogany Rooms can be booked on their own or together. They sit beside the restaurant's wine cellar and come with a private bar, a pool table and a large television, an easy spot for guests to relax after dinner.

Each space welcomes roughly 12 to 50 guests, and a full restaurant buyout can host more than 100, depending on the layout.
