Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre

At the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre, a wedding unfolds in one graceful sequence: a mid afternoon ceremony, cocktails and photos in the lobby, then dinner and dancing well past midnight.

The centre sits in the heart of the University of British Columbia's Point Grey campus in Vancouver, right beside transit and parking, which makes it easy for guests coming from across the city.

Ceremonies are set for up to 180 guests. While cocktails are poured in the lobby of the Wong-Trainor Welcome Centre, where a piano waits, the team transforms the room for the reception in about an hour and a half.

Receptions take place in Jack Poole Hall, the main ballroom, which seats up to 300 for dinner with space for a dance floor. Couples can also add the Walter C. Koerner Family Terrace Lounge, a penthouse lounge with a wraparound patio, for a more intimate gathering.

Wedding packages include Jack Poole Hall, evening use of the Welcome Centre, the in house furnishings, access to a commercial kitchen and a complimentary room for the wedding party to get ready.

Exclusive catering partners look after the food, and couples may bring their own alcohol under a special event permit. Daytime ceremony only bookings are also available.
