Orchard Restaurant

At Orchard Restaurant, a wedding feels like a dinner party in an indoor garden, with more than 100 living plants and over 30 chandeliers glowing above the tables.

The restaurant sits at the base of the SODO residential tower in downtown Calgary and was built from the ground up for guests who love good food and design. It has hosted well over 100 weddings.

The main room rises to ceilings 24 feet high, split by a wooden back bar lit up with bottles, soft lights and greenery. The space can be divided, and it welcomes up to 60 guests seated or 100 for a standing reception.

Couples can hold their ceremony and reception here, by day or by evening, with indoor and outdoor options. A wedding arch and natural décor are part of the setup.

The kitchen cooks a modern blend of Asian and Mediterranean flavours, served as a seated menu, passed canapés or reception stations. A full bar program is included, and the team can create a cocktail just for the couple.

A dedicated service team, event coordination support and a sound system with control of the playlist round out the day.
