OLV Banquet Hall

Floor-to-ceiling windows, chandeliers and the glow of a gas fireplace give OLV Banquet Hall a warm, welcoming feel, set within a historic country setting in Ottawa South.

Our Lady of the Visitation Banquet Hall has welcomed families and friends since 2010. It is located approximately 15 minutes from the Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport.

The hall is approximately 2,200 square feet, with neutral earth tones, medium oak trim and a semi-barrel vaulted ceiling. Lighting has individual controls, and a separate bar area keeps drinks close to the celebration.

For wedding receptions, the hall accommodates up to approximately 150 guests with a head table, band or DJ and dance floor. In theatre or mingling style, it holds up to about 200 guests.

Couples work with an external licensed caterer, and the hall can recommend options. The kitchen, with a side entrance, is available for food preparation and warming. Staff set up the tables and chairs to the couple's floor plan.

Rentals run from 1:00 PM until 1:00 AM, with three complimentary hours to decorate the day before. The building is barrier-free on one level, and there is ample complimentary parking on site.

The hall itself is not used for ceremonies, but Catholic couples can arrange to marry in the adjacent church through the parish office.
