Mount Peyton Resort & Conference Centre

There is something reassuring about a celebration where the dinner, the dancing and the rooms upstairs are all part of the same place.

Mount Peyton Resort & Conference Centre sits along the Trans-Canada Highway in Grand Falls-Windsor, minutes from the Grand Falls-Windsor Golf Club and the Exploits River. It offers air-conditioned rooms and six rental spaces ranging from 207 to 2,250 square feet.

Weddings are welcomed in the hotel's air-conditioned banquet venue, with staff ready to help make sure the details of the day come together.

The largest space is the Newfoundland Room, at 2,250 square feet, which can host up to approximately 146 guests in banquet-style seating. It includes a portable dance floor, air conditioning, a private coat room and a private bar area.

For a smaller gathering, The Mill Room is a newly renovated event room with a rustic feel, described by the hotel as ideal for special occasions and smaller scaled weddings. Other rooms, including the Mary March Room and the Boardroom, offer space for meetings and more intimate get-togethers.

The hotel provides catering services along with audio-visual capabilities and equipment, so the meal and the speeches can be arranged in one place.

Friends and family can stay on site too. Room types range from standard rooms and family rooms to executive, VIP and Jacuzzi suites, and the property has kitchenettes, guest laundry, a fitness room and two dining outlets.

For couples who want a central Newfoundland celebration where guests can arrive, celebrate and rest without leaving the property, Mount Peyton Resort & Conference Centre offers a comfortable, well-rounded setting.
