Le Mange-Grenouille

At Le Mange-Grenouille, a wedding day can end on a terrace watching the sun go down over the islands of the Bic.

The inn sits in the heart of the village of Le Bic, now part of Rimouski, inside a historic building that was once the village general store. Parc national du Bic is less than five minutes away.

The house opened as an inn in June 1990 with a theatrical, baroque décor, and for more than thirty years its founders filled it with cabaret dinners and musical brunches. Since 2021, new owners from the region have carried it forward with a focus on local producers.

The inn lists weddings among the private events it hosts, along with anniversaries and gatherings, and it usually opens from May to December with some flexibility outside the season.

The kitchen celebrates the Bas-Saint-Laurent with seasonal, locally sourced dishes and regional wines, beers and spirits. Guests can stay in the Classique, Côté Cour and Jardin rooms or in the suite.
