L'Orée des Champs

At L'Orée des Champs, a wedding is held in a handcrafted wooden hall on a family farm in the Lac-Saint-Jean countryside.

The certified country table sits on the 7th Rang in Saint-Nazaire, on land the same family has worked for three generations. The founding couple raised seventeen children here, and today the farm specializes in lamb raised on site.

The reception hall was built by hand, almost entirely from wood cut on the family's own forest land. A large masonry fireplace warms the room, two mezzanines add space, and authentic wooden tables and chairs complete the setting.

The hall seats 150 guests for dinner and welcomes up to 175 for the evening. A professional bar, leather sofas, a coat check, a quiet corner for the couple, a wine cellar and accessible washrooms are all part of the space.

Most ingredients on the menu come from the region, and the lamb goes straight from the farm to the plate. The team can share a list of trusted partner suppliers.

Guests can also visit the farm shop and the economuseum dedicated to lamb charcuterie.
