Kits House

Stained-glass windows, high ceilings and original wooden beams give the Community Hall at Kits House a sense of warmth and history that feels made for a gathering of people who care about one another.

The Kits Community Hall is a cozy remodelled church attached to Kitsilano Neighbourhood House, at 2305 West 7th Avenue in Vancouver. A grand staircase leads up into the hall.

The hall covers about 1,575 square feet, with a 45 by 35 foot main floor and an elevated 18 by 18 foot stage. It seats up to approximately 120 guests theatre-style or around 120 for a cocktail-style gathering, and about 102 at rectangle tables or 96 at round tables for a banquet.

The stage can hold an intimate ceremony, a head table for all the guests to admire, or a live band.

Wedding packages include a Ceremony Package in the hall, as well as full-day packages that cover the celebration from noon until midnight.

The hall has a private entrance, private washrooms, a kitchenette, a P/A system and event lighting, including globe lights. Larger packages add caterer's use of the commercial kitchen and time in the Garden Room.

Alcohol can be served with advance permission from Kits House and a Special Event Permit.
