Islamic Centre of Cambridge

At the Islamic Centre of Cambridge, families can hold the nikah and the celebration that follows within one welcoming community setting.

The centre is a charitable, non-profit organization founded by the local Muslim community in Cambridge, Ontario, and it serves as a gathering place for religious and social occasions across the Waterloo region.

For couples marrying here, the centre offers full nikah services: a licensed imam officiates, the Islamic marriage certificate and licence paperwork are prepared, the marriage is registered with the province, and the team helps with preparations.

Hall B is available to rent for weddings and walimas. It seats up to 160 guests at round tables, or 200 with chairs only. The rental includes tables and chairs, setup, security and cleaning, and keys can be picked up the day before a weekend event.
