Irish Association of Manitoba

At the Irish Association of Manitoba in Winnipeg, a wedding comes with the easy warmth of a room that has hosted many a ceilidh and musical session.

The association is a non-political, non-sectarian, not-for-profit club where newcomers are treated like friends from the moment they walk in.

Receptions are held in the Bunratty Room, a newly renovated club room that seats up to 110 guests and is offered for weddings, showers and other celebrations.

The club's commercial kitchen prepares four course banquet dinners, as well as hot and cold appetizers for cocktail style parties. Drinks are poured at the club's own Pub 654, with Irish favourites such as Guinness, Harp, Kilkenny and Smithwicks, a shelf of Irish whiskeys and warming Irish coffee.

Both daytime and evening rentals are available, and evening events can carry on late into the night.

For couples who picture a toast with a pint of Guinness and a dance floor full of family and friends, the Irish Association of Manitoba offers a wedding with true Irish hospitality at its heart.
