Hammonds Plains Community Centre

There is something special about celebrating in a place that has already held a community's happiest moments. For more than 50 years, this hall has been exactly that.

The Hammonds Plains Community Centre has hosted hundreds of weddings over the years.

Receptions take place in the Firefighters Hall, which can welcome around 187 guests with tables, chairs and bar service, or up to 300 theatre-style. The centre has tables and chairs on hand for up to about 120 guests.

The Wedding Weekend Package begins on Friday evening, giving couples time for a rehearsal party and extra hours to decorate before the big day.

The package includes bar service with two trained bartenders and a liquor licence arranged by the centre, access to the fully licensed kitchen, and staff cleaning afterwards.

The centre does not provide catering, so couples are free to bring in any caterer or food they choose. Tablecloths, dishes, coffee service, an audio system and a projector are available to rent.

A Hammonds Plains transportation company, TJ's Van & Carpool Services, can pick up guests and drive them home safely at the end of the night.
