At Grain & Grit Beer Co., a wedding feels easygoing and personal, the kind of day where friends raise a glass of beer brewed right on site and nobody feels stuck in a banquet hall.

This family-run craft brewery and event space in Hamilton welcomes couples who want a celebration that is a little less traditional.

The taproom and seasonal patio together hold up to 100 guests from May to October, while the indoor space alone suits a cozy gathering of up to 35 from November to April. Couples can rent part of the space or book the whole venue.

The brewery has no kitchen, so couples are free to bring in the caterer or food vendor of their choice. The bar pours the brewery's own beer along with wine, rail spirits, cider and non-alcoholic options.

A venue coordinator and one or two bartenders come with every private rental, along with the existing tables and seating, help with setup and complimentary parking. Wedding packages are quoted to fit the date, season and guest count.
