Gaffer's Restaurant & Lounge

At Gaffer's Restaurant & Lounge in Lockport, a wedding reception can glow with evening light as the sun goes down over St. Andrews Lock.

Gaffer's is a restaurant and lounge that welcomes weddings and private events, with a set of rooms that can be booked on their own or combined for a bigger celebration.

The Sunset Room is the main ballroom, with 15 foot ceilings and views toward the lock as the sun sets. It seats up to 180 guests, and paired with the rooftop patio it can hold up to 300 for a cocktail style party.

Up on the second floor, the rooftop patio looks out over the Lockport bridge, a lovely place for drinks and photos before dinner.

For a smaller wedding, the Phoenix Room seats 50 surrounded by custom oak walls and a fireplace. Next to it, the Garden Terrace has greenery, a stone walkway and a cast iron gate at its entrance, and seats 40. Together the two suit a cocktail reception of about 100.

The Hook, the venue's sports bar, has a dance floor, two pool tables and a large projector screen, and holds up to 120 guests for a relaxed gathering or an after party.

Food comes from the Gaffer's kitchen, which also offers catering, so the whole meal is looked after in house.
