Freddy’s on Main

Freddy's on Main is housed in a century-old building on Main Street in Cardston, built in 1905, with original hardwood floors, exposed brick and a pair of original arched windows.

The venue is about 35 minutes from Waterton Lakes National Park and 50 minutes from Lethbridge. It has two floors, each around 2,442 square feet, and couples can exchange vows and share first dances beneath an open-truss, barnwood-style ceiling draped in string lights.

Maximum occupancy is 205 people when alcohol is not served and 162 when it is. Long tables included with the booking seat up to 205 guests, and round tables can be rented.

Bookings come with a generous list of items, including cross-back wooden chairs with white cushions, rectangular tables, long wood tables for serving food, gauze curtains, a wood frame backdrop, a decorative fireplace frame, easels, a projector screen and a JBL speaker with microphone.

Couples have access to the space for three days, so there is no curfew. DJs are welcome, pets are allowed, and alcohol may be served to invited guests with a special event licence from AGLC.

Couples can hire a planner or arrange everything themselves, and the venue shares a list of local vendors who have worked there before. A hotel across the street and Airbnbs in town give guests places to stay.
