A wedding at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler unfolds beneath the peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb, with mountain light pouring through tall windows and a heated terrace waiting just outside.
The resort sits in Whistler, ringed by British Columbia's Coast Mountains, and celebrates couples in every season, from snowy ski weekends to summer days on the alpine trails.
For a ceremony bathed in daylight, the Harmony Foyer has windows from floor to ceiling and its own private terrace, with room for up to 100 guests at a cocktail reception. The Harmony Terrace welcomes up to 80 for a gathering in the open air.
Receptions centre on the Harmony Ballroom, which seats up to 250 at round tables and connects to a terrace so the evening can drift indoors and out. The ballroom divides into two rooms of 120 seats each, and four smaller rooms each seat about 50. Across its 12 event spaces, the resort can host up to 350 guests.
A dedicated on-site wedding manager helps reserve dates, shape the schedule and coordinate food and drink and can work with an outside planner. The team can point out photo spots around the property and will work with any florist or suggest preferred designers.
Menus are created with the culinary team around British Columbian ingredients, with canapés, a plated dinner of several courses and snacks late into the night. The in-house pastry chef can design a custom cake, and couples choose their own linens, china and glassware.
Guests can book rooms and suites directly with the resort, with mountain views and fires to relax beside, and the wedding party can get ready at the spa, named Canada's Best Resort Spa in 2024 and 2025. Between festivities there is skiing, hiking, biking and a fireside bar.
For couples who picture saying their vows with Whistler and Blackcomb rising behind them and a long mountain weekend with everyone they love, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler offers a wedding that pairs polished service with true alpine beauty.
