Floral Showhouse

A wedding at the Floral Showhouse can unfold among roses outdoors or orchids and tropical greenery indoors, with the distant roar of Niagara Falls drifting across the garden.

Run by Niagara Parks, the Floral Showhouse sits a short walk south of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. It opened in 1946, added north and south houses in 1951 and a front reception area in 1980, and today shelters orchids, ferns, palms, succulents and cacti alongside seasonal floral shows through the year.

Couples can marry outside in the rose garden, among the ponds and tall grasses of the Artist's Garden, or inside in the tropical foyer. The indoor space welcomes up to 30 guests and the gardens up to 50, and ceremonies are possible all year.

The Floral Showhouse is one of the few Niagara Parks ceremony sites closed to the public during a wedding, so the couple and their guests have it to themselves for their two-hour booking. Electrical outlets are on hand, and candles in enclosed glass are permitted.

Niagara Parks offers a ceremony package that can include a bouquet and boutonniere, an officiant and access to the surrounding grounds for photos, and its nearby reception venues can host the celebration afterward.
