Edmonton EXPO Centre

At the Edmonton EXPO Centre, a wedding can be as intimate as 50 guests or as grand as 1,500, all under one roof in the middle of the city.

Owned by the City of Edmonton and run by Explore Edmonton, the EXPO Centre is the largest exhibition space in Western Canada, centrally located with room for celebrations of almost any size.

For most weddings, the setting is the modern Conference Centre. Ballroom 101 to 106 has 18 foot ceilings and removable walls, so it can open into one large room of more than 16,000 square feet or be divided into six smaller spaces for a more personal feel.

Meeting Rooms 107 to 109A are bright, with floor to ceiling windows that fill them with natural light and access to a foyer and an outdoor patio. They welcome up to 160 guests, a lovely size for a ceremony or a smaller reception.

For very large weddings of more than 700 guests, Halls F, G and H provide wide open space to design from scratch.

The all-inclusive wedding package covers full day space rental and a choice of plated or reception style menus. The award-winning in-house food and beverage team prepares the meal, experienced event managers guide the planning, and preferred providers can add lighting, rigging and audio visual.
