Devour! Studios

A wedding at Devour! Studios brings people together in a former apple warehouse in the heart of Wolfville, now reborn as a home for food, film and celebration.

The Studios form a 24,000 square foot culinary and cultural hub in the Annapolis Valley, run by the team behind the Devour! food film festival. Alongside weddings, the building hosts concerts, galas, cooking classes and screenings.

The main hall covers 7,000 square feet and can be split in two with a movable wall. Set with round tables it seats up to 250 guests for dinner, holds 400 in theatre rows for a ceremony, and welcomes up to 500 for a standing celebration.

A concert stage gives bands and speeches a proper home, and the hall comes with in-house sound, lighting and projection, flat screens throughout, rigging points for decor and a large stock of tables, chairs and high tops.

Food is a natural fit here. The building has a professional demonstration kitchen with walk-in refrigeration, a full service bar and two service nooks, and the team can share a list of preferred caterers.

Guests arrive through a lobby with coat check, and there is a backstage green room with a shower for getting ready, plus a mezzanine meeting space and a small theatre. The whole building is fully accessible, with an elevator and a Rick Hansen certified washroom.
