Conscious Lab

Some rooms carry their history quietly. At Conscious Lab, it lives in the exposed brick, arched windows, hardwood floors, original radiators and high ceilings that give the space its sense of heritage and authenticity.

Conscious Lab is an event space in Vancouver, set in a historic building the venue describes as one of the oldest in the city.

It was created for gatherings with intention, and intimate weddings sit alongside elevated celebrations, wellness events, dinners, retreats and photo and film shoots among the occasions it hosts.

The space can accommodate approximately 65 seated guests or around 85 standing, a size that keeps the people who matter most gathered close without anyone feeling lost in a large hall.

Practical pieces are already in the room. The space includes folding wooden chairs, bamboo tables, cocktail tables, a bar, glassware, plateware and cutlery, along with speakers and microphones for toasts and a 65-inch TV.

A full kitchen and two washrooms round out the space, which helps when planning a dinner or reception.

Couples planning a smaller wedding might picture a relaxed dinner, heartfelt toasts and conversation that carries on into the evening, all within one characterful room in the heart of the city.

The space can be rented directly through the venue.
