Under the Little Italy arch on Preston Street, a building that has stood since the 1960s has found a new life as a place where people gather.

Collabüro is a coworking and event space in Ottawa. The building was originally built for a German church that served the Little Italy community, and today its rooms host everything from corporate events to weddings, birthdays and film screenings.

The Main Hall is the heart of a celebration, with room for up to approximately 110 people for dinners, special events and weddings. The covered, private Patio holds around 50 guests and is suited to wedding ceremonies and bridal showers.

Spaces can be combined for larger gatherings of up to around 150 guests. The Main Hall can be extended with the Patio or the Elevated Area, and the Large Room seats up to about 40 for smaller gatherings.

Collabüro welcomes intimate wedding ceremonies, bridal showers and engagement parties in the Main Hall or on the Patio.

Each space includes professionally installed audiovisual equipment, wired and wireless microphones, sound and fast wifi, and catering menus are available. Booking happens through a live online calendar.

Getting there is easy. There is a bus stop at the door, Dow's Lake O-Train station is a few minutes' walk away, and parking options sit close by, with Dow's Lake and the Rideau Canal among the nearby landmarks.
