Some weddings feel as though they have stepped out of time. At Clerks' Quarters, log walls and pine tables set the scene for a celebration with a warm, woodsy cabin feel.
Clerks' Quarters is one of more than ten year-round venues sprinkled throughout Fort Edmonton Park, in Edmonton. The Park is best known for telling great stories, and couples can build a full-day experience here, from ceremony to photos to reception.
The room can accommodate approximately 90 guests. Natural pine tables complement the log construction, making it an atmospheric setting for a wedding reception or a relaxed dinner steeped in history. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
Ceremonies can take place nearby as an add-on to a reception booked in the Park. Memorial Garden in Fountain Park holds around 100 standing guests among flower beds and a wooden swing. The Church of St. Michael and All Angels seats approximately 75, and St. Anthony's Catholic Church seats around 40, both available year-round.
Admission to the Park is included for wedding guests, so family and friends can explore between moments. Hotel rooms at the Park are available for overnight guests and wedding day preparations, and couples receive lifetime general admission.
The Park's catering kitchen serves public and private events across the grounds, and staff are on hand to help plan. Couples bring their own officiant, and a complimentary one-hour rehearsal can be confirmed two weeks before the booking, subject to availability.
For couples who want an intimate, rustic reception surrounded by living history, Clerks' Quarters at Fort Edmonton Park offers a celebration full of character and story.
