Centini Restaurant

At Centini Restaurant, a wedding feels polished and intimate at once, with Italian cooking, fine wine and contemporary Canadian art lining the walls of a private dining room.

Centini opened on May 31, 2002, on historic Stephen Avenue in downtown Calgary, at the corner of 1st Street SE. Over more than two decades it has built a reputation for special events and refined hospitality.

The private dining rooms are dressed with an extensive collection of contemporary Canadian art, fine furnishings and elegant tableware. Couples can choose from three rooms depending on their guest list: the Puccini Room, which houses the restaurant's wine cellar; the Small Dining Room at the front of the restaurant; and the Main Dining Room for larger groups, with views along 8th Avenue.

Altogether the restaurant can host groups of up to 350. The Lounge and Theatre offer a more casual space for cocktails and mingling.

The kitchen serves gourmet Italian and continental European cuisine, with chef-created menus made by hand and an award-winning wine selection. The events team helps plan each gathering from start to finish.

Centini is within easy walking distance of major downtown hotels, and underground parking is available nearby.
