How would you describe your photography style?
Light, airy, and full of feeling. We blend gently guided portraits with candid moments to capture both the beauty of your day and what it felt like to be there. The happy tears, the ridiculous speeches, the dance-floor chaos. We’re here for all of it.
We’re awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?
Absolutely. “We’re awkward in photos” might be the most common thing we hear. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. We’ll give you easy direction, keep things relaxed, and leave plenty of room for you to simply enjoy each other.
Why have two wedding photographers?
Because your day has more than one story happening at once. While one of us captures your walk down the aisle, the other can catch your partner’s reaction. Two photographers means more perspectives, more candid moments, and coverage that lets us be in two places at once. A very practical kind of magic.
Do you photograph elopements and smaller weddings?
Yes! Whether you’re celebrating with a handful of your favourite people or a packed dance floor, we’d love to hear what you’re planning. Intimate celebrations deserve beautiful photographs just as much as big ones do.
Should we book an engagement session?
We love an engagement session as a chance to get comfortable together before the wedding. You’ll get a feel for how we work, practise being in front of the camera, and have photos of this chapter of your story. Think of it as a date with a couple of friendly third wheels.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
We’re West Coast photographers. Rain is practically an honorary guest. We’ll work with the conditions, look for sheltered spots and beautiful light, and help you stay flexible. Overcast skies can be lovely for photographs, and a little rain can make for some wonderfully romantic moments.
How do we book Cedar and Cove?
Start by sending us an inquiry with your date, venue or location, and a little about the two of you. We’ll check availability, talk through your plans, and share collection options and the steps to reserve your date. No perfectly organised wedding spreadsheet required.
