Candid Brewing Company

A wedding reception at Candid Brewing Company feels like a big East Coast kitchen party, with craft beer brewed on site and friends gathered around long family tables.

This small, family owned brewery sits in the heart of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, run by Louise and Bryan. Bryan brews every batch himself, drawing on professional training and experience abroad.

The taproom is furnished with real dining tables sourced from local families, each one carrying its own history, which gives the room a warm and homey character.

The events venue holds up to 175 guests and comes with a stage for live performance, a professional sound system, a projector and large screens. A cozy front room with booths and high tops seats about 24 to 30, and a small patio opens in summer.

The bar pours rotating Candid beers on tap along with cider, wine and mixed drinks. Couples can even design their own custom can label and have their beer printed for the day.

Guests can enjoy a game of pool or ping pong, and the space is woman owned, fully accessible and a 2SLGBTQIA+ positive space.
