Some places carry a story in their name. Canadian Flower Winery draws its name, and the tulips on its labels, from the Dutch royal family's wartime refuge in Canada and the 100,000 tulip bulbs gifted to the country in 1945, a tradition of gratitude that lives on in Canada's Tulip Festival.
