Canada's National Ballet School

Glass and steel wrap around a Georgian-style house from 1856, and a three-storey atrium fills with light. At Canada's National Ballet School, a celebration takes place where heritage and contemporary architecture meet.

The school's campus sits in the heart of downtown Toronto, and its venues are available for a variety of events and functions, including wedding ceremonies and receptions.

The Celia Franca Centre in Toronto is an award-winning dance training facility. Its atrium, Mona Campbell Square, serves as a café and gathering place and makes an ideal event space, accommodating up to approximately 250 seated guests or 480 standing.

The atrium opens onto a courtyard, creating a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. The glass structure surrounds the house of long-time Ontario Premier Sir Oliver Mowat.

For a more traditional feel, Currie Hall in Toronto was built in 1911 as a Quaker Meeting House and was the original site of the school. Its residence dining hall is steeped in history and tradition, with a gracious atmosphere for around 150 seated guests or 220 standing.

The campus also includes the Betty Oliphant Theatre, a fully equipped performance space, which couples can ask about through the school's theatre inquiry process.
