Bras d'Or Yacht Club

A wedding at the Bras d'Or Yacht Club comes with wide views of the Bras d'Or Lake, sailboats on the water and sunsets from a long balcony over the harbour.

For almost a century, the club has stood on the Baddeck shoreline, greeting everyone who sails into the harbour. Its clubhouse, with a slipway, flagstaff and viewing verandas, is part of the character of the village waterfront and has long hosted wedding celebrations.

The entire facility can be reserved for multi day bookings a few times each year for weddings and similar events, and the lower level alone can be booked more often.

The lower hall holds up to 100 guests, with bar service, a full service kitchen, a sound system and washrooms, and the party can spill out onto the club wharf under a tent. Upstairs, the lounge and balcony look straight out over the lake.
