What styles of music do you play? Can we request specific songs for our ceremony?
My repertoire covers a wide spectrum—from timeless classical pieces and romantic cinematic soundtracks to modern pop ballads and jazz standards. Absolutely! I love learning custom song requests for key moments like your aisle walk, register signing, or exit song to make your ceremony uniquely yours.
Do you bring your own sound equipment, or does the venue need to provide it?
I am completely self-sufficient. I bring my own high-quality, compact sound setup and amplification suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces. All I need from the venue is access to a standard power outlet (or prior notice if an off-grid setup is required).
Which parts of the wedding day can you perform for?
I offer music for every stage of your day, including pre-ceremony guest arrival, the ceremony itself, post-ceremony drinks/cocktail hour, and background music during dinner. You can book a single segment or a seamless multi-part package.
How far do you travel, and are travel fees included?
I regularly travel across the region for weddings and events. Local travel within the GTA and a round trip distance of 150km is included in my standard rates, while celebrations further afield are happily accommodated with a transparent, standard mileage fee.
Can you perform outdoors?
Yes! Live violin sounds beautiful outdoors. To protect the instrument and ensure top sound quality, all I ask is a shaded area away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, or rain, as well as a flat surface to set up.
How do we secure our date, and what is your booking process?
Once you reach out to confirm date availability, we’ll discuss your timeline and musical vision. A simple contract and deposit will officially lock in your date, and we’ll coordinate music details together as your big day approaches.
What happens if our schedule runs behind on the wedding day?
Weddings rarely run strictly to the minute, so flexibility is built into my service! I arrive early to set up, tune, and adapt on the fly. If guest arrival or the prelude runs longer than expected, you’ll never have to worry about awkward silences or repetitive music—because I have a vast repertoire learned by ear, I can keep playing fresh, beautiful songs without ever having to repeat a piece.

Absolutely! You can listen to high-quality audio clips and watch live performance videos right here on my profile [or on my website/social channels]. If you’d like to hear a specific song idea or talk through how a piece might flow on your day, I’m always happy to jump on a quick call or send a sample clip.
