At Anderson Lane, a wedding plays out over several days on the ocean's edge, with west coast sunsets and the chance of whales or sea lions offshore.

The private estate covers 11 acres of oceanside land in Cobble Hill on Vancouver Island, with landscaped grounds, privacy walls and access to the beach.

Ceremonies take place on an oceanfront site with the water as the backdrop, and the property's large green spaces and patios host the celebration that follows.

Weddings welcome up to 200 guests, with packages for full weddings, intimate weddings and elopements of up to 25.

The villa offers more than 10,000 square feet across three suites and seven bedrooms, sleeping up to 22, so the couple and their closest people can stay for the whole weekend. A saltwater hot tub looks out to sea.

Guests can paddleboard or kayak from the beach, and private chefs, sailing at sunset and wine tours can be added. Weddings require a three-day stay and a wedding planner.
