At Ampersand27, a wedding celebration feels like a lively evening on Whyte Avenue, with good food, a full bar and the people you love gathered around the table.

This Alberta-inspired brasserie sits in the heart of Old Strathcona in Edmonton, known for shareable plates, brasserie classics and a gin bar that holds more than 60 gins.

Couples can choose the space that suits the size of their day. The Main Dining Room, looking onto Whyte Avenue, welcomes 30 to 110 guests with about 80 seated and works well for a wedding reception. The East Dining Room is a separate, naturally lit space beside it for 20 to 60 guests, with 48 seated.

For a smaller gathering such as a rehearsal dinner, the Private Dining Room holds 10 to 35 guests, with 25 seated, and has a flatscreen with HDMI for slideshows or speeches.

For the whole room to themselves, couples can book a full buyout of the restaurant and bar for 40 to 200 guests, with 120 seated. Floorplans and menus can be tailored to the celebration.
