A wedding at 1 Hotel Toronto can end high above King West on Harriet's Rooftop, with one of the widest views of the city skyline spread out behind the couple.

The hotel sits on Wellington Street West in downtown Toronto and is designed around nature. More than 3,300 plants fill the property, and the event rooms bring in floor-to-ceiling windows, reclaimed wood harvest tables and plenty of greenery.

Harriet's Rooftop works for a ceremony or a reception, holding up to 200 guests in summer and 150 in winter. Its retractable roof and side panels give couples the open-air feeling with a built-in plan for rain. In the warmer months, from May to September, the Garden Pavilion offers a small outdoor space set in the hotel's own garden.

For receptions, the Maple Ballroom seats up to 160 for a banquet and can be split in two so the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner each have their own space. Flora Lounge is bright and open for cocktail receptions, the Chestnut Ballroom suits smaller groups, and Casa Madera, the hotel's restaurant, can host up to 250 guests.

Wedding menus follow the seasons and lean on local ingredients, and couples are invited to a custom tasting to shape their meal.

The couple receives a complimentary night at the hotel, and guests can book a room block at preferred rates when eight or more rooms are reserved.
