The Woven Willow began with a love story of its own.

Mike and Heather Hughes bought their Mulhurst Bay property as a hobby farm, then held their own wedding and reception there in 2019. The memory stayed with them, and so did the feeling that the landscape, barn and relaxed country atmosphere could become something meaningful for other couples. From that day, The Woven Willow grew into a family passion project and an elegant rustic venue made for celebrations.

That origin gives the place a warmth that cannot be manufactured. This is not a wedding concept dreamed up in a boardroom. It is a property where the owners first gathered their own loved ones, sat guests on bales of hay and shared an old-fashioned meal in the barn.
