The Simple Knot in Guelph was created specifically around micro weddings, giving couples a place where an intimate guest list feels intentional rather than like a smaller version of a traditional ballroom celebration. The venue hosts a maximum of approximately 50 guests and is dedicated exclusively to weddings and wedding-related events.

The venue was created by Mahdis and Alex after their own pandemic wedding plans changed and they discovered that what they really missed was the chance to celebrate properly with the people closest to them. That experience eventually became the idea behind The Simple Knot.
