The Henley Room

Toronto can feel very far away when you are standing beside the water at The Henley Room.

Set inside the Argonaut Rowing Club on the northern shore of Lake Ontario, the venue combines a private waterfront terrace with a warm, intimate reception room and views that become especially beautiful as the sun begins to disappear.

Weddings here are intentionally personal.

The room has hosted everything from intimate seated celebrations to cocktail receptions of more than 200 guests, and only one event is booked at a time. A dedicated event manager works with each couple through the planning process and remains on site for the wedding itself.

But it is the water that gives the day its softness.

The newlyweds walk toward the docks while everyone else watches the sun lower over Lake Ontario.

For a few minutes, the city seems to disappear.

Then everyone comes back inside.
